Caring for Our Planet in Style

I value sustainability. I believe that as God’s children, or simply inhabitants of Earth, it is our responsibility to care for our planet.
You made them rulers over the works of your hands;
you put everything under their feet:
all flocks and herds,
and the animals of the wild,
the birds in the sky,
and the fish in the sea,
all that swim the paths of the seas.
Lord, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!
Psalm 8:6-9
Right now, our planet and fellow humans are suffering under a culture that pushes fast fashion. One of the ways I express my faith and fight fast fashion is through my art.

I create hand-printed upcycled clothes and accessories. I love hunting through secondhand shops and garage sales, looking for treasures that can be upcycled for a new life. It’s hard to describe the moment you find an incredible piece and begin to imagine its potential.
I hope that more people will begin to value art and fashion created in a slow, meticulous, and sustainable process.
Upcycled Market

Join me at Loop Market’s Upcycled Market, where I will be printing on clothes! I’m bringing blank clothes from local secondhand shops, garage sales, or the like. At my booth, YOU will choose from my original linocut designs to make your very own unique piece of sustainable fashion.
