My Creative Journey

I am a thrifting junkie. I also have ADHD and a new sewing machine my mother-in-law gave me for Christmas. The combination of these fueled by my passion to create sustainable art resulted in handsewn bandanas from fabrics I sourced secondhand.

But the bandanas are merely a blank canvas to capture my ever growing collection of vintage inspired art. The real magic happened next as I pressed each of my hand-carved linocut blocks on the bandanas using simple printmaking techniques to create the bold, radiating starburst pattern you see here. This atomic-era inspired design captures the optimistic energy of mid-century modern aesthetics, resulting in handprinted clothes that feel both nostalgic and fresh, combining traditional block printing with upcycled materials.
