GW ARTSY to Eternal Escapade: Behind My Rebrand

Hey everyone! I'm excited to finally share that I've “rebranded” from GW ARTSY to Eternal Escapade. Although officially a renaming rather than a full rebrand, this wasn't just a random name change; there's a deeper meaning behind why I chose this new identity for my Christian art journey.

Why the Change?

The Logo!

As my art has evolved, so has my understanding of my purpose as a Christian artist. As I'm becoming more serious about my business, I wanted a name that would stand out in the Twin Cities art scene and evoke a sense of curiosity and adventure. With so many talented artists here, I needed something that not only captured the heart of my mission - bringing glory to God through creativity - but also set me apart with genuine meaning.

I chose "GW ARTSY" during portfolio class in college, but as I've grown more intentional about my craft and business, it was time for something that better reflected both my spiritual journey and my commitment to creating impactful Christian art in this vibrant artistic community.

The Meaning Behind "Eternal Escapade"

Let me break down what Eternal Escapade really means to me, because it took me a LONG time to decide exactly how I wanted to represent my art.

Eternal: My Foundation in Christ

The word "eternal" represents the everlasting life I've been blessed with through Christ's sacrifice. It's not just about living forever, but also the continuous adventure of loving and obeying God every single day.

Whether I'm here on Earth working to further God's Kingdom or someday in the new earth with my redeemed body, I'll always have the adventure of being Jesus’ friend. That relationship is eternal, and it's the foundation of everything I create as a Christian artist.

So whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please Him. - 2 Corinthians 5:9

Escapade: Adventure & Great Commission

"Escapade" might sound playful and with good reason, but it carries profound meaning. At its core, it represents the' Great Commission: His command to us to "go therefore and make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19).

But it's also about embracing the adventure that comes with following Christ. Life with Jesus is always an adventure full of wonder, growth, faith, patience, and much more. My Christian art is meant to capture that sense of adventure and inspire others to crave this same adventure.

How This Shapes My Art

My rebrand to Eternal Escapade is about clarifying my artistic mission. Every piece I create aims to:

  • Share wonder for God's incredible greatness

  • Inspire others to seek the truth

  • Encourage curiosity about life, faith, and God

  • Show that being a Christian artist means embracing both creativity and purpose

The adventure of following Christ provides endless inspiration for my work. From admiring the beauty of creation to asking complex philosophical questions, there's so much to explore through Christian art.

What This Means for You

If you've been following my journey as GW ARTSY, nothing fundamental changes about what I do - I'm still the same person creating art that points to God's glory. But now, with Eternal Escapade, I have a clearer vision and a name that truly represents it.

I'm more committed than ever to creating Christian art that doesn't just look beautiful, but also sparks meaningful conversations about faith, purpose, and the incredible adventure we're all earnestly invited to join.

Moving Forward Together

As Eternal Escapade, I'm excited to explore new artistic territories while staying grounded in my Creator and my commitment to glorifying Him through creativity.
